Acne is a condition that plagues many people, especially during puberty, which can be frustrating and embarrassing. Before you rush out and spend a lot of money on skin care products that might not work, try these few natural products from fruit that may do the trick:
Lemons fight bacteria that cause acne because it has citric acid. To use it, just cut a lemon in half and rub the open side of the lemon gently on your face. The stinging you will feel means it is working. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse off. When you use lemon juice for your acne, you probably should use sunscreen if you’re going outdoors, because it may make it a higher risk for sun damage. Lemon juice also makes a good toner for your skin.
- Grapeseed oil
Adding only a teaspoon of grapeseed oil to your toner will help your skin cells damaged by acne repair themselves.
- Banana peels
Use a small piece of banana, peel and rub it on the acne for a few minutes until the inside turns brown. While the peel particles dry on you or face, your skin will be absorbing the nutrients and vitamins in the peel. Allow it to remain on your face for about 30 minutes and wash it off in warm water. You can do this three times a day. It’s alright to leave the peel particles on your face overnight and wash it off the next morning.
Papaya is found in many beauty products. Raw papaya works even better, and it’s a natural acne remedy. It helps get rid of dead skin cells as well as excess lipids from the skin. Papaya also helps with inflammation, because it has papain. To use it, rinse your face with water and pat it dry. Take the flesh of a papaya and mash it into a consistency that you can apply to your skin. Put it on the affected areas for about 20 minutes and then rinse it off.
Nature has given us an abundance of ways to help cure ourselves. For acne, these natural fruits can help improve your skin.
