Skin Beauty Salad

This salad is great for your skin and tastes pretty good too.

The red onion and bitter greens in this salad are high in sulphur which is great for helping your liver  cleansing your system, cleansing your skin and also helping to eliminate acne.   Bitter greens are also extremely beneficial for digestion.  The radish and cucumbers are silica rich which is also great for your skin, hair and nails.

When possible, try to use the freshest organic ingredients you can.


2 handfuls of bitter greens such as rocket, endive, watercress, radicchio

1 x grated carrot

1 x grated radish

1 x diced cucumber

½ red onion diced

For the Dressing

1 x lime juiced

1 x avocado, peeled and pitted

1 x tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar

1 x pinch Cayenne Pepper

1 x teaspoon Raw Honey

1 x handful fresh soft herbs – Basil leaves, dill, coriander

Sea salt to taste (optional)

How to do it;

Combine all of the ingredients for the dressing in a blender and whizz to a smooth consistency.

Assemble your salad – take a large bowl – add the bitter greens and the red onion, then add the radish and cucumber.  Toss them all together with your hands until well tumbled and mixed.

Add your yummy dressing and again, using your hands (if you’re up for it) combine everything together until all the salad ingredients are well mixed and covered with the dressing.
